Riedel Cornetto Decanter

The term decanting is confusing, and ignorant to some that are not wine avids. It means transferring (decanting) the contents of a wine bottle into another receptacle (the decanter) before serving. It may sound silly (how can pouring wine from one vessel into another make it taste better?), but it works out this way.

Don't take my word for it, but based on observations and taste tests, and testimonials from other experts and wine lovers. Decanting is the way to go for prepping your wine for better taste. There are many different types of decanter, and it would take the whole internet to access it all.

What we would like for you to check out is this Riedel Wine Glass. This is what Riedel said when he was thinking about designing this particular decanter. "After dinner at Aureole, I was watching these elegent swans in the pool at the Bellagio hotel, and the easy flow between their necks and bodies got me to thinking, Why not adapt that line to a decanter?"
